One easy alternative is to use crossbows, which are relatively easy to manufacture from materials that should be available to a space colony.  Crossbows are somewhat harder to learn to use than a gun, but should be capable of taking out even a man in a space suit.  One potential problem, however, is that virtually all crossbows are fin-stabilized, which would be ineffective in a vacuum.   A spin-stabilization mechanism would be required, and might have to be developed more or less from scratch.  While a vacuum does not have many of the perturbing forces found in an atmosphere, some rotation is likely to occur after launch. A crossbow bolt is most effective if it hits nose-first, while a spin-stabilized bolt will tend to remain in its original orientation despite the effects of gravity.  It might make more sense to use a spherical projectile, particularly as the aerodynamic considerations against it do not apply in vacuum, and indoor ranges are likely to be short enough for the aerodynamic problems to be negligible.

Under glycolysis, you must first deplete blood-glucose and glycogen stores in order to begin utilizing fats as energy, but the breakdown of fat must then compete with the breakdown of muscle-mass. The result of this competition or duel catabolism is about as much muscle-mass lost as fat. This can of course be largely avoided thru ketosis since under ketosis body-fat is the first and primary source of energy. Ketosis is muscle-sparing for the simple reason that proteins no longer compete with fatty acids for energy utilization. Under ketosis, protein is a secondary energy source and thus muscle-mass is largely spared.

Getting leaner is all about diet. As saying goes, you can't outrun a poor diet. Calorie deficit is necessary, but don't over do it as it gets very difficult to gain muscle with a calorie deficit. I suggest you reduce calories by cutting any high glycemic carbs. Also, I suggest keeping fat intake fairly high with natural fats and not avoiding saturated fats or cholesterol. A low calorie and low fat diet is a sure way to lower testosterone. Note that you do not need nearly so much protein as is commonly advised (generally by those who happen to sell protein supplements).

This whole article is bullshit! I have been religiously lifting from 16 to my age now of 34 and very heavily in the military for 7 years of that, I’m 5′-7″ 208lbs at 12% bf and I have a bench max of 345lbs. With that being said almost anyone can do that with proper diet and training unless genes or an illness prohibits, not every man or women is equal in that department and maybe instead of discussing in a bullshit forum you should all hit the gym harder and find out for yourselves, just because you’ve been lifting for a year or two it doesn’t make you an expert in strength or what natty vs. unnatty is!

The very same 14th Amendment that the evil communists use to make the “penumbras” of the first ten amendments, the Bill of Rights, applicable to the states, which was used by the communists to invent “substantive due process” to overrule the clear language of the . Constitution when it suits their libtard policy goals (create fundamental right to contraceptives, abortion, and, now, gay marriage), is the very same 14th amendment that they use to justify official discrimination against white males backed by the force of the United States military.
